Collecting

If you apply for your travel document at the municipality, you can generally collect it three working days later. You should allow for longer waiting periods during holiday periods.

 

You must collect your new travel document in person at the same municipal office where you applied for it. If you move after applying for a document and have not yet collected it, you must collect it from the municipality where you are registered at that time in the Municipal Personal Records Database (GBA), handing in any valid document still in your possession.
