National passport

A passport is valid in all countries, but many countries also require a visa for the holder to be admitted. The standard passport has 34 pages.
Children under 18 wishing to apply for a passport require the written permission of both parents (or the legal guardian). It is possible to add children to a passport (including an electronic travel document) up to the age of 16.

Children listed in the passport of a parent (or the guardian) cannot travel independently on that passport.
